Diandra + Andrey

Before Bajo Maison became what it is today, there was a celebration that quietly held the feeling we continue to return to: the ocean, family, and the beauty of gathering somewhere meaningful.

For Diandra, the sea has always been more than a backdrop. It is a place she returns to often — through diving, surfing, and the kind of family trips that turn into lifelong memories. So when she and Andrey imagined their wedding, the ocean naturally became part of the story.

Their celebration took place aboard Augustine Phinisi during a rare moment when the vessel was docked in Jakarta. Though set in the city, the feeling was entirely shaped by the sea: open air, warm wooden textures, gentle movement, and the quiet intimacy of being on board.

The concept was never about creating a literal theme. It was about capturing a feeling. Something romantic, effortless, and close to nature. The details were kept refined and understated, allowing the phinisi itself to become the heart of the celebration.

Diandra’s wedding dress carried this story beautifully. Delicate ocean-inspired embroidery moved across the gown, adding a quiet, personal detail that felt deeply connected to her love for the sea. It was subtle rather than obvious, poetic rather than ornamental — a piece that made the concept feel intimate without ever feeling overly themed.

Surrounded by family and friends, Diandra and Andrey marked the beginning of their marriage in a setting that felt deeply personal to them. A vessel made for journeys became the place where they began their own. There was poetry to it — a wedding held aboard Augustine Phinisi, for a bride whose love for the ocean had always been part of her life.

After the wedding, their story continued through portraits in Labuan Bajo, surrounded by landscapes that would later become so closely tied to Bajo Maison. The images carried the same feeling as the celebration itself: intimate, sunlit, and led by the natural beauty of the sea.

Looking back, Diandra and Andrey's wedding feels like a beautiful reflection of what we now create for our couples. Celebrations that are personal without being overdone. Elegant without feeling distant. Rooted in place, but led by emotion.

A wedding aboard Augustine Phinisi is not only about where the celebration happens. It is about the feeling it leaves behind.
